Totally Tapioca Foundation - (Formalization of non-profit status in progress)
Totally Tapioca (www.totallytapioca.com) is a four-part a cappella vocal group from Sacramento. For the past nine years, we have become known for bringing energy and passion to familiar folk songs, popular favorites, and humorous original parodies. As performers, we all share a common love for song and a commitment to assisting our community and world through fundraising events. All of Totally Tapioca’s profits are donated directly to carefully-selected charitable organizations, and we rely on the enthusiasm and generosity of our fans to support these efforts. In the Best of Sacramento 2008 awards, Sacramento Magazine named Totally Tapioca “Best Group for Pudding Charity First.” They called our mission “totally selfless,” and applauded our efforts of “singing to make the world a better place.”
This year, Totally Tapioca is seeking 501(c)3 status to facilitate and streamline our fundraising efforts. The mission of the Totally Tapioca Foundation is a dedication to raising money in support of local, national, and global charitable organizations and people in need through performance of a cappella music. We currently are inviting interested applicants in the greater Sacramento area to apply for voluntary Board positions by April 1, 2012.
